Precious friends drove in from Arkansas Thursday evening to squeeze in a little bit more time together and to help celebrate a couple of May birthdays.
Their oldest daughter shares a birthday with me, and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the cheesecake Sarah made for our birthdays.
Friday, we drove over to Aaron's school and hiked the trails
constantly flanked by beautiful wildflowers and beautiful views of God's handiwork.
After a picnic lunch on Delphinium Knoll, we hiked back to our vehicles with a bunch of hot and tired kids (and adults!).
Our kids took turns sleeping outside in the tent, the boys slept outside Thursday night, and we crammed all five of the girls in our little tent Friday night.
We just had an all-around good time hanging out together, sword-fighting, cooking, laughing, and sharing life.
So very thankful for the gift of friendship and all of these early birthday presents!

Hehehe! Those "Wildflowers" grow in my perennial bed and I bought them at the greenhouse. They're happy spreaders.
A very Happy Birthday to you, my dear friend!
Blessings!
Deborah
