Well, it seems that Aaron has finally succumbed to the dreaded "Advisory Committee" disease. We were visiting with another couple (the husband serves on the AC) after brunch this morning, when Aaron suddenly wilted and said, "Where's the ibuprofen?" He compared notes with our colleague and discovered that his symptoms were the same as the rest of the committee, and then he said goodbye to our guests and went to bed.
So, I think it's a good night to enjoy some beef stew from my trusty red and white cookbook, a wedding present from my kindergarten teacher. The recipe will be minus the celery, which is almost impossible to find in Honiara, and worth its weight in gold when you can find it. But I was thrilled to find stew meat on sale last month, and I've been keeping it in the freezer for a cloudy day like today. And now the crock pot is helping the house smell inviting and homey to welcome my kids when they come in from playing in just a few minutes...

Hope he feels better soon, and praying the rest of you don't get it.
Love and prayers,

Not good. :-( Praying!
Oh dear! Hurray for stew - hope that perks him up a bit.
