National Play-Doh Day

"Joe McVicker of Cincinnati sent some nontoxic wallpaper cleaner to his sister-in-law, a nursery school teacher.  She found it to be an excellent replacement for modeling clay.  In 1955 cVicker took the product to an educational convention and by 1956 Play-Doh was being sold commercially."

We love this fun day!  Our kids always forward to an excuse to make yummy peanut butter play-doh.

Mix:
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup milk powder
1/2 cup honey

Or if you have a sweet tooth, here's another version from Early Education at Home (one of my favorite preschool resources):

Mix
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup corn syrup
1 1/2 cups powdered milk
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
