As we chug out to the Russell Islands, here are a few of the things that make our hearts overflow in gratitude:
*kids making small steps of improvement and performing at piano recitals
*patient friends to help us load the boat and generous friends to provide meals for us
*fresh green coconuts waiting to be slurped once we reach Marulaon
*the excited words, "Hey Mom, look at this!" and the wonder of personal discovery
*iced coffee and good conversation shared with a new friend
* a clean, sweet-smelling two-year-old, all wrapped up in a big fuzzy towel
*a hard working, organized packer of a husband
*leaving the city lights behind and watching the stars come out in the village

Prayers and thoughts for the travelers. I know that you are all tired and have lots to do to get things "up and running" again. It was great to see the latest posts.
We have the most gorgeous day today...lots of blue skies and sunshine...thank you God for the dry days.
Love you all.
I don't know when you'll get to read this, but we're raising money for the Sonlight One Verse project, and this week's focus is the Pacific! We were excited to see it. :)
