Third Culture Kids

Lest I forget that I'm raising four incredible "Third Culture Kids", they constantly remind me.  Katherine recently drew this picture to mail to her best friend, who is an American living in the Solomon Islands:

My kids still have trouble reading American culture cues, they still dream about the Solomon Islands, and they will always have a foot in each culture.  I'm proud of them for doing the hard work of Third Culture Kids (TCKs).  I follow a blog, "A Life Overseas", which recently posted a fabulous article on ways to love on TCKs.  If you want to get a glimpse into the mind of these fascinating kids of mine, take a minute to peruse the articles on this blog.
