Starry Messenger

Our family has been studying Galileo in both science and history, so we decided to have a little bit of fun today!  We made star shaped cookies,

I'm reading Galileo's Daughter by Dava Sobel as the grown-up component to our study.  I love homeschooling!  I learn so much and have fun, too, all while our family does "school".

Did you watch the meteor shower on the 11th - It might have been too bright in the city. Henry and I lasted long enough to see one star fall! He asked if they were all going to fall...:)
