Nineteen Years

"...then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.  Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.  Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."
Philippians 2:2-4

Nineteen years ago, Aaron and I pulled away from the church in my little Honda Civic as husband and wife.  We had no idea what God had in store for us, but we knew that we needed God's help to be like-minded, to have the same love, and to be one in spirit and purpose.  Aaron brought his INTP personality into our marriage, and I brought my ESFJ.  We had learned that our "love languages" were upside down from each other.  But we also knew that God would teach us how to do nothing out of selfish ambition but to look after each other.  And He has.

Praying for you all as you move into another year of marriage...life with each other and the kids. God has done a great work in the two of you as individuals and as a couple and it is a blessing to see how He has been so often glorified through your life together.

We love you.
