A cold wintry mix fell outside, but inside the house was warm and full of laughter. Yesterday, our family drove down to visit some of our former colleagues who taught orchestra alongside us when we began teaching in Pine Bluff.
These ladies mentored us as new teachers, taught us how to plan field trips, played in orchestras with us, threw us a wedding shower, and when we announced we were shifting into full time ministry, their response was something like, "We wondered how long it would take you to figure that out!"
We don't get to see these friends often. But when we do, I always leave this house with a list of good books to read, and the conversation leaves my mind, heart, and spirit full!
