Ice Cream Cones

Yesterday was the birthday of the ice cream cone, and we never pass up the opportunity to celebrate with ice cream.  We read some of our favorite books:

And celebrated with some of our favorite people!  My mom is in town for the weekend, and we snagged some friends from church  (also Wycliffe Associates) who happened to walk by just as we were ordering our ice cream.

Lisa,
We'll be back in Florida some time next summer, and Rodeo Whip will be on our schedule. Don't worry, we'll give you guys a call :-)

And sense you know about the very scientific Ice Cream Theory (ice cream actually SHRINKS the food in your tummy due to its being cold, so you can eat it even if you're full), I hope you all ate a LOT to make room for dinner! Right?

We had ice cream yesterday, too! But I didn't know I had such a good excuse as a formal holiday. Gotta mark this one on my calendar.

Love, Liss
