The window of opportunity when all of us gather is growing smaller and smaller, so we are incredibly grateful for every chance we have to spend time with our favorite people: Team Choate.
Benjamin's birthday started without all of our kids at the house, but early in the morning we prepared for the birthday boy's arrival. My dad was available for "bike and breakfast", and he used his skills to blow up the balloons that we hung from the porch.
After Sarah's incredible creation of a birthday cake was consumed, and the house was quiet again, the Choates unleashed their creativity.
Benjamin requested a deep freeze for his 21st birthday and Christmas present. The sisters came up with a rap, since wrapping the huge box would have presented quite the challenge...
