Gingerbread Houses and Christmas Caroling

Every year, I look forward to watching the gingerbread "houses" take shape under the skillful hands of my family.  I don't remember what year we began making and decorating gingerbread in earnest, but I do know that creating and playing together is a sweet foundation for our family.

This year we made a conglomeration of stained glass pyramids and Moses and a group of young men who are music majors at JBU.

We wrapped up our day by Christmas caroling to a few families around town, blending our voices and sharing our gingerbread.
