I shaved my legs!

You may be thinking, "That's way too much information." But the point is, my leg is so much better that I could actually shave my legs today (for the first time in two weeks!). I finished up my antibiotics today, as well. Through this whole process, I've constantly been amazed at how God made our bodies. Thanks for your continued prayers as my leg heals.

Hi Joanna! I am LaNette, Pat Rains neice. I have been praying for you I and am so proud to hear that you are recovering. I read the comment that Auntie left for you about my using you and your family as an example of sacrifical service in the mission field and also requesting that everyone keep not only you, but your whole family in uplifted in prayer. Our church is a small country church in the beautiful valley of Snowball. I am called to serve here. After many years of struggling with where and what my call was, I found it right here at my home church! I have 3 children ages 17, 16, and 6. Our church would LOVE to sponsor your family in anyway and send love packages. We WILL be prayfully supporting your work and praying for your safety and for the health of your family. Please email me when you have time:

Joanna, you're amazing! You always seem to smile even through the worst circumstances! What a great God we serve! May He continually uphold you. I remember reading about Edith Sheaffer making her family "at home" no matter where in the world they were, and that is what you have done for your family. Well Done!

Joanna and family. Your leg is so obviously healing. It still looks like it needs lots of God's hand and healing touches, but I am amazed at how much better it is. Praise the Lord for His goodness and grace!

We are at 31 degrees this a.m. after being at 25 all day yesterday..white with sleet all over the ground. Enjoy your warm weather and think of us here...
love you. Mom
