Our day is off to a great start so far. A handsome young man joined me outside this morning, and we enjoyed synchronized Bible reading and coffee drinking,
while inside, our zucchini-carrot-walnut bread (from the Great Holiday Baking Book) finished cooking.
We are ready to start the day, refueled physically and spiritually. Swimming with friends, packing, dentist appointment, packing, ice cream sundaes with friends tonight...

Although we're in the middle of our annual Choir Camp (the one that provided so many wonderful shirts we cannot wait to see the SI natives wearing!), we are still checking in on you all. We love you so much, keep your names often on our lips in prayer, and love you all so much!

Wish I could come help you with that packing!
Thankful for relaxing mornings for you! I can still see you and Katherine at my back table. :) Now, I have a back porch to sit on. You'll have to come back! You could help can some green beans!
Love you,
Ava
Kayla, I can't wait to send you pictures of our neighbors wearing ENMU shirts!
Ann, my awesome packing husband and his handy-dandy roll of packing tape have everything under control :-) You and I could just go hang out at Barnes and Noble!
Ava, if your invitation will still be good in a few years, I'll come sit on your back porch and help you can green beans on our next furlough.
Thanks, friends for your encouraging words! Even though I keep this blog as my "scrapbook" for the family, it's so nice to have a circle of friends to join me!
