We've finished the science experiments, packed up the books, cleaned out the fridge, frozen the grains to kill any bugs, counted out the packages of ground beef allotted for our stay, gathered the translation tools, and started the "on the ship basket".
watching the "rain" form as the water condenses under the ice
The basket will hold ginger to suck when the sea gets to rolling; my new book, Kate Moore's "The Radium Girls"; lots of water bottles for the long, hot day; toilet paper ('cause you have to bring your own!); sunscreen; and those pesky last minute little things that always pop up when you are trying to walk out the door at 6:00 a.m.

I'm going to miss our more frequent communication while you're "away" in Marulaon!
Praying for you all,
