So many fascinating people come through the Dallas area.  Tuesday night, we delighted in spending time with some friends who have served in Central African Republic.  Because they had to evacuate, they arrived in Dallas earlier than planned, and we get to see them!

They prepared a delicious African meal for us, and then the moms and the kids walked down the street to a tiny little farm to feed and pet the animals.

For our animal lover and wanna-be zookeeper, this was pure joy!

We also found honeysuckle, a new treasure to our younger children who didn't remember the flower from before we left America.

Sweet treat!
