Baklava and Books

Once again, we hit the library for a win in Katherine's studies of the Middle East.  These were some of the books we liked the best, with both lovely illustrations and meaningful text:

The King and the Three Thieves by Kristin Balouch
One City, Two Brothers by Chris Smith
What About Me? by Ed Young
The Three Princes by Eric A. Kimmel
The Golden Sandal by Rebecca Hickox

We engaged more of our senses by finding some baklava at a local restaurant and bringing it home to sweeten our reading experience.

Gayly, baklava IS certainly delicious! We're loving having a good library nearby with its abundance of books :-)
