Katherine cooking Hamantashen
We've been saving our weekly ration of butter so we could make a half batch of Hamantashen to celebrate Purim.  Chocolate cookies with chocolate and raspberry filling, these have to be one of my favorite cookies!

The family enjoyed reading through the story of Esther tonight.  Aaron wrote the names of the characters on the chalk board along with what we should say each time we heard the name read.  We had to be a little bit quiet, so we didn't use loud noisemakers and boo Haman, but we did say, "Our hero!" whenever we heard Esther's name.

I made hamantaschen with our college girls and we watched "One Night with the King." I also love the book "The Doorbell Rang" (from post above) and I love the fact that our lives are so very different, yet do have similarities. We're always praying for you!
