Road Trip

The sun finally broke through the clouds as we drove toward Calgary where the next set of friends awaited us.

The Canadian Rockies.  Oh, wow.

Snow still on the ground.  Double wow.

We stopped to stretch our legs in the midst of the six hour drive and to enjoy the Cave and Basin National Historic Site inside Banff National Park.

Did I mention that the Rocky Mountains just knock my socks off?!?

We only had about an hour,

because the real purpose of our travels is to see people,

not to be tourists.

But we're soaking it all up, this once in a life time experience.

I'm very aware that our family won't have very many more opportunities to make memories with all six of us.

So we're enjoying every minute that God gives us!
