Bench
The theme over at Snapshots Around the World this week is "Bench". This bench is a coconut scraper, a vital piece of equipment in the Solomon Islands and something I hope to bring back to the States on furlough.
It's lovely! I think you may have to remove the scraper part though before you head home :o).
Just wanted to let you know that a lovely package arrived in the mail for me on Friday. I think the salad tongs will be going on my wall. They are so pretty that I want to be able to admire them and think of you everyday.

I saw benches like that in Mozambique--they fascinated me! I wanted to take one home, too, but I only had one suitcase. ;)
