Monday afternoon, Aaron called the Kosco office and learned that the ship planned to head out to Marulaon Village on Wednesday night at 9. Tuesday afternoon, Aaron bought a round-trip ticket for the Kosco and all of the petrol and supplies he needed to hold workshops in the Russells. Tonight, we loaded up everything and everybody and drove down to the wharf. The first thing I noticed when we pulled up beside the Kosco was a big truck backing out, fully loaded with timber. The next thing I noticed was the ship itself, sitting very high in the water. So, I quickly asked Aaron to make sure the ship was still leaving before we unloaded the vehicle. Sure enough, he came back shaking his head. The ship had changed its schedule. It's now planning to leave on Saturday night. We're just practicing our flexibility and incredibly grateful for a few more days with Aaron around. I liked what Sarah said on the way home from the wharf. Something like, every step outside your comfort zone just makes your zone bigger. Eventually, if you keep stepping outside your comfort zone, it will include everything!
