More goodbyes

Our lives here are full of transition, especially goodbyes.

Yesterday, we took some dear friends to the airport to head back for furlough.  These are the friends who are usually in the village when we are in the village, so we share stories almost every day on the radio.  They encourage us to keep on going and they pray for us when we are exhausted.

They are truly the "iron sharpens iron" kind of friends.  And we are so thankful that God allowed us to share life in the Solomons together.

The God-is-so-gracious-cherry-on-top finish...we'll be living only a few minutes away from this sweet family when we move to the Dallas area.

How awesome that you'll be on furlough with your mission friends - people who can truly understand each other, and all the cultural adjustments.

Woo-hoo!
